My last project at Daybreak was revamping the already existing help page. It is a website that I interacted with almost every day as a Technical Support Representative.


The website is a Zendesk application. Ruby on Rails on the back end using Curlybars as a templating engine. The website had almost no dependencies and raw vanilla js.

While revamping the website to give a little more pop, I also added some features:


- Made the games customizable by the Zendesk administrator rather than being hardcoded in the HTML

- Dynamic backgrounds that rendered based on what category the user was viewing

- Allowed the Zendesk administrator to make an alert/warning on the home page

- Users are able to see their support activity so its easy to find tickets that are already open


This was my first professional public facing website. I have learned and grown since making this but, it was a fantastic learning experience.
