Problem

In 2023 I bought myself a Pixel Watch 2 after breaking my FitBit tracker. I was sold on the Pixel 8 Pro + Pixel Watch deal (good job marketing team). Unfortunately, coming from the fitbit tracker, I immediately noticed that this device has abysmal battery life.

It lasts around 1.5-2 days in the best conditions while the fitbit tracker would easily last 6+ days on a single charge.

Solution

I made an app that tells me approximately how much time left I have until the battery loses charge.
